When you’re talking about iconic Aussie brands, they don’t get much bigger than the mighty Chiko Roll.
To revive this much-loved snack, we created a new brand platform, encouraging Aussies to ‘Roll Home with a Chiko’, repositioning it as the nation’s favourite driving delicacy.
To launch our new platform, we conceived the ‘Handy Holder’, a device that lets you keep both hands on the wheel – and the other on a Chiko Roll. And, in typical 70s style, we launched it with an classic informercial featuring one of Australia’s greatest salesmen – the legendary Pete Smith.
And to make sure our message stuck around in people’s heads long after the campaign had finished, we also wrote a classic jingle that was played during afternoon drive radio.
